Extensive, intensive and thorough, the Comprehensive Fitting takes about 3 hours on average, of which 1 hour is spent on musculoskeletal function alone.
A Comprehensive Fitting includes everything in the Standard Fitting, plus:
- RIDING ASSESSMENT: While cycling on a turbo trainer, we assess the way you ride. We evaluate your flexibility, strengths and weaknesses, from which we make adjustments to your ride position.
- FUNCTION ASSESSMENT: Function is the key to good, non-injurious riding and also maximises handling and control of the bike. Following on from the riding assessment, we find a physiologically ‘safe’ position for all the body's joints, helping to reduce load and optimise your breathing.
- HISTORICAL ASSESSMENT: In addition, we take into account your full riding history, including current and past injuries. We identify your goals and targets and make recommendations to aid you in achieving your ambitions.
A full report detailing the fitter's findings will be issued to you following a Comprehensive Fitting.
